He was the l wade of centers for 2 years
@FrodoTBaggin it is.Shouldn’t we picking a poster that had a redemption arc?
Not on my watch he fucking wouldn’t.I don't think someone would do that
There seems to be an interesting correlation with Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz….I gave Jones a lot of shit his first couple years - deservedly so but he's been great the last 2 years and will play in the NFL for a long time.
Beau Stephens was bad as well early in career and he ended up an all American. Barnett and lack of Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz has done wondersI gave Jones a lot of shit his first couple years - deservedly so but he's been great the last 2 years and will play in the NFL for a long time.
It’s why preseason rankings based on returning starters is incredibly lazy. It’s almost like players get better.
Max CooperI see some dorks freaking out that Iowa will now suck on special teams since Woods left.
That's stupid, they were good before him and they will be good after him. Not like he didn't have some flaws from time to time as well, he did coach and start Colten Rastetter.
I feel like Sandeman was notorious for that.Wasnt there someone other than Pooper who just loved to never field punts
He is up there, but pound for pound it was Colton Rastetter. Nobody was ever worse in the Ferentz era.Pooper is the worst football player we've ever had at any position and I forgot he existed.
KF should still be fired because of him.
Tanner Miller and Bacon Hill would like a wordHe is up there, but pound for pound it was Colton Rastetter. Nobody was ever worse in the Ferentz era.
My youth memory has Sean Considine getting one blocked punt per game and then also one time Paki O’Meara got one.I do remember a time when the Hawks used to be pretty good at blocking punts- i was a fan
Ramon OchoaPeople forget the stellar S/T play before Woods. Not diminishing his ability as he is a very good coach, but look at the guys prior to when he even first helped out in 2012.
Kicker: Kaeding was unreal for his time and Schlicher was good. Murray and Meyer were solid.
Punter: Donahue played in the NFL and Bradley was above average.
Returner: CJ Jones, Brodell, DJK,etc
I’m sure I’m missing some guys but Iowa has had good special teams going back to the Fry days. This is unfortunate but really not that big of a deal.
May main Paki memory is tied to the defcon chartMy youth memory has Sean Considine getting one blocked punt per game and then also one time Paki O’Meara got one.
one of my favourite IrishmenMay main Paki memory is tied to the defcon chart
This unlocked something deep within every old Haloman’s soul.
Lest you people forget Jonathan Parker.Pooper is the worst football player we've ever had at any position and I forgot he existed.
KF should still be fired because of him.

Matt Malloy and Jermire Roberts. My youth memory has Sean Considine getting one blocked punt per game and then also one time Paki O’Meara got one.
I think most of us were so fearful the Brian era would never end…that we robbed ourselves of enjoying the Petras era. That guy became the dumbest damn football player the second he felt pressure and it looked like he was having a seizurealways remember throwing a fade to Max Cooper near the end of a big game whilst Noah Fant, in Brian's doghouse, sat on the bench.
His last act as an Iowa football player was to stand in front of the team and dab several times during the trophy presentation after the Holiday Bowl. He is not a good person.Pooper is the worst football player we've ever had at any position and I forgot he existed.
KF should still be fired because of him.
Harold Dalton would like a word.Pooper is the worst football player we've ever had at any position and I forgot he existed.
KF should still be fired because of him.
I wanted to punch him in the face more than any other time. Even when he single handedly blew the Wisconsin gameHis last act as an Iowa football player was to stand in front of the team and dab several times during the trophy presentation after the Holiday Bowl. He is not a good person.
He is up there, but pound for pound it was Colton Rastetter. Nobody was ever worse in the Ferentz era.
I'd agree it's Bacon Hill, but he did say pound for poundTanner Miller and Bacon Hill would like a word
I've never heard you mention this before. Interesting.always remember throwing a fade to Max Cooper near the end of a big game whilst Noah Fant, in Brian's doghouse, sat on the bench.
Also interesting is Fant took himself out in this particular situation because he was winded.I've never heard you mention this before. Interesting.
