Ok, I haven’t been critical of Brad because at least he stepped up and he tries, but don’t post shit like this. He’s talking about the RM transfer.

“I’m working on this as we speak. This isn’t cut and dried. And I might screw it all up so don’t get excited yet. Wouldn’t be the first time I messed something up!”

Hard to believe the athletic department can't find someone to take this thing over.

They need to find someone who’s not looking for attention for dipshits on messages board to run the collective.

If he posted this shit even a single time on Tom fucking Kakert's message board that a deal was in process and that he might potentially mess it up, I would never ever ever let him come near one of the programs again.
He posted it on 247 site too. He’s been acting like a child throughout the entire basketball process

Trilly came in to tell everyone to relax.

He's way too much of a fan, imo. I've met him a couple times now (!!) and he's a nice enough seeming guy, but he gives me the impression of a dude who was good at one thing so assumed he'd be good at another. He needs to hand this off to someone else.

Brad followed up and said something like when it's international players, the situation gets more complicated — will they get paid? How? What happens if they take the money and then transfer out? Just said he wanted to protect the money that's been donated and said he had to get back on the phone.

All things Brad does indeed need to consider. But there was no point in ever making the initial post

Sounds like he mostly needs to shut the fuck up.

Just as Trilly predicted with Toolson. No reason to doubt that Folgueiras is going to be a Hawk. Trilly is the only legitimate person who has commented on it.

I’m guessing that Brad would gladly hand over his role to basically anyone that’s qualified.

Need a post and perhaps another backcourt guy and should be good to go.
Which is really kind of incredible, even in the NIL era. It hasn’t even been a month and he’s put together a pretty damn good roster already.

Drake 5:

Stirtz
Combs
Howard
Banks
Manyawu

Returning Iowa players:

Koch
Koch (walk on)

Non-Drake transfers:

Hausen
Alvaro F.

Incoming recruits:

Jirak
Sage (not announced, but confirmed by Brad and Tom.)
So they basically got the core of the 30-3 Drake team that beat Missouri in the NCAA Tourney including the best PG in the country.

They added a now healthy 4* Koch, a really good shooter from Kansas State and a versatile shooting big that was player of the year in his smaller conference. Also have 2 recruits that are good but need time to develop.

So they have 8 guys that can all play right now and might add 1-2 more. They passed on the flaky Xavier recruit that was trying to demand more money and that they stop recruiting any other guards.

Hey, sounds pretty damn good. I like it so far!

Not sure this is the type of post they’re looking for but I’d be ok with Alvaro and this guy starting in the post.

Is there anything actually indicating this is at all likely? Seems really implausible.

This is great but I'd love to see the negative tweets out there for transfers not coming from fans or reporters for teams that didn't get them.

"What is Wisconsin getting with Matt Sullivan from Monroe State? Well, honestly not that much. He was an 8 and 6 guy against some pretty shitty competition but they had the money to spend and he was the best guy still left that they could land."

Yes. "We have had..."
The formulation "have had" is part of the present perfect tense. It's formed by the present tense of the verb "to have" (have) plus the past participle of "to have" (had). This tense is used to describe actions that started in the past and continue to the present, or actions completed in the past with a connection to the present.

people need to stop inserting the word "have" and "has" everywhere. it makes you sound retarded, quite frankly, when clearly what you mean is to use the straightforward past tense. why didn't you say: "How the fuck is that guy playing D2 and we have had complete faggots taking up 1/2 our scholarships? "

don't you see how that's clearer? do better.
