Supposedly still an uphill battle with ISU for this guy (I’m assuming no relation to Brent as he’s 6’5”) , so we’re brining in the big guns

I went and looked up his profile on 247 and it shows Kansas has 12 TEs on the roster and 2 commits. Seems like a lot

If it's an uphill battle with ISU the kid is an idiot.

Wallace elected to not camp at Iowa last summer. He’s not going to get offered - especially in a year when our class is probably going to be less than 15 total and we already are probably full at LB.

My high school in Illinois had a GPA scale that went up to 5 rather than 4.

I guess that's better than the law school grading system, which had the top grade being a 90 instead of 100 and confused some potential employers.

Not grades, but on the subject of scales that don't make any sense.

They have health scores posted very prominently in restaurants here in NC. Most are in the 90s. That all seemed fine until I saw one that was 101.5.

WTF? Maybe the scale goes to 150 and I'm going to get cholera at this restaurant.

Maybe they pasteurize the menus or serve hand sanitizer as a condiment. extra points

Most public and private schools weight AP, IB, and Dual Credit with a full quality point -- a 100 in an advanced class coverts to a 5.0 on GPA. A 100 in an easier class coverts to 4.0.

Honors classes are generally given a .5 quality point.

So, a kid with a GPA over 4 has taken more challenging classes, and done well in them.

My wife’s employer gives annual performance ratings on a 1-5 scale but no one gets a 5 so “everyone has something to aspire to”.

I told her to tell her boss it might as well be on a scale from 1 to elephant then. She did not.

Are we suggesting that you in Dubuque, IA received a better highschool education than most from Illinois?
We discussed this elsewhere yesterday. schools used to teach. Now schools just teach children how to be gay, especially in Illinois. Which was probably wasted on you since you didn’t need teaching!!!

I think I have told the story on here, but Ricky Davis went on one of his recruiting visits or a regular visit after he committed to watch an Iowa basketball game, and at sometime during the game he went back to the locker room and stole JR Koch's shoes out of his locker. The coaching staff or players saw him a few days or weeks later at a high school game and he was wearing the stolen shoes.

Wiltfong predicted we get Narwot. That can’t possibly end up true right?

He’s a legacy recruit so it’s entirely possible. On3 has him rated quite a bit higher than other places. I wish they’d cool it. His other offers only decent rn.
