LOL at thoughtless. I’ll be thrilled if we actually replace this shithead with a qualified OC with a decent resume. Seems that possibility is fading with each passing day and piece of news, and the chance to sell a bright and significantly different offensive future to players is fading with it.

I don't give a fuck what anything seems like to you. Eat a dick you negative fuck.

If Brian is still the OC on February 1st you have my full permission to complain to your heart's content.

When asked if it is helpful to our current talent acquisition and retention efforts for Brian's continuing as OC to remain a distinct possibility, Positive Bob asks “what’s the downside?”

I’m still hanging on to the glimmer of hope that porta-dougie provided us.

To honor you, I’ve invented a new word: “Bobtimistic” as in “sure all of our receivers are white, but I’m Bobtimistic that it’ll be GREAT”.

Your brain is literally broken and unable to function without falling into spiraling negativity.

Can I get some objectively defensible positive predictions, Bob?

Who is the new OC gonna be?

Who will be our top 3 receivers in 2023?

Any new OL?

I’d love to get back that feeling I had when it looked like Josh Gattis would be our next OC and the wink, wink, nod, nod game was about to be in full effect. It’s pretty clear right now that nothing at all like that is happening.

Who will be our top 3 receivers in 2023? Probably at least 2 TEs

Any new OL? Yes

I have answered your questions.

Josh Gattis would have been a dogshit hire at OC. He's going to end up run out of both UMs in the space of a couple years. He's a WR coach, not an OC.

The fact that you thought he would be a good hire says a lot about how seriously everyone should take your football commentary.

he would have been much better than what we’ll keep/promote, especially if given the type of latitude Saban gave him, and considerably more appealing to the types of immediate talent upgrades we need. if you can’t see that, then I’d say you are the dumbfuck

Bob and Doug act as if the pessimism is unwarranted.
It really sort of is. History has shown over and over when the cards are down, Ferentz comes out on top and makes the changes necessary to rebuild and do it quickly.

I think it'll be Brian, but I could see Chryst or Budmayr.

Dochterman reported Gattis definitely isn’t happening, and if Brian is replaced it will likely be fucking Budamyr
I just checked his resume. Super impressive.

I like the fact that the OC experience he has was for one season because they fired the head coach.

A gift from the heavens.

You mean another job where he was run out after a year? He has Alforded twice since 2018.

Link to him being “run out” of Alabama and Michigan? I assume he took big pay cuts with both moves, similar to Jon Budamyr’s following his last OC job?

The only thing that's different is paying players.

Just that...that's the only thing.

I'm sure he'll embrace it and thrive in the new football landscape. You're right.
