A new starbucks is opening a few blocks from your house???More good news coming later this week, boyz.
See now you are starting to learn how to play the game. You can bump this vague post when damn near anything happens and act as though you had the scoop.More good news coming later this week, boyz.
I’ve wondered the same and do the coaches state their level of desire or do they determine how much to offer a player based on their recruiting ranking? Further, how do you determine what to pay Isaac TesLaa versus say one of the Michigan WR? There are so many factors that go into this that I don’t understand.I'm interested how the money and process works in practice.
Clearly the collective gets some sort of cue from the coaches that a particular player is desirable. I presume (but don't know for sure) that the collective would be the group conducting the discussion (negotiation) with the player because the coaches probably cannot do that themselves. I would then think that there has to be a contract of some sort in place between the collective and the player so that the player only gets paid if they show up and participate.
Does anyone here have a more clear understanding of the details that they're willing to share?
From what I hear, the collective and coaches communicate back and forth. Most players worth a shit have an NIL agent or someone doing the logistics for them and they will often times reach out to the collective to let them know they have interest and vice versa. The both make each other aware of opportunities and interest level.I'm interested how the money and process works in practice.

NahIowa will have another commit by tomorrow
He’s not coming to IowaInterested to see which one of Parker and Richman play RT if Rouse commits. The other would likely be RG
I'd never thought about the NIL money as a way to circumvent scholarship limits. The Swarm worked with Evans and Shannon to get them to come back. They also got a deal for Filer so he could walkon but offset the cost of attendance with NIL deals so he’s basically a scholarship player.
I hate all of it.I'd never thought about the NIL money as a way to circumvent scholarship limits.
Interesting, and not good.
