Michigan is only just now dragging itself out of the hole RichRod dug them into. Bill Callahan might have actually killed the Nebrantska program.
The past doesn't necessarily predict the future, of course, but my bet is Wisconsin will put up big offensive numbers and lose a bunch of close games because their defense gets gassed late. Just like Michigan and Nebrantska used to.

Nebrantska is a terrible example, mostly because Callahan was a terrible coach. Fickell is not.

Fickell's results at Cincy speak for themselves. But both those other guys tried to turn their programs away from the large Midwestern beef they were built on, to disastrous results.
