Maybe he’s doing the real work quietly, building relationships with larger donors and working on significant gifts, but based upon the way he’s constantly pointing a pen light at himself from an arms length distance, I doubt it.

Groups I’ve worked with on fundraising have found this onesy twosey shit is almost counter-productive. You bring in tiny amounts, but you tap out your donor base and fatigue everyone. You don’t want $50 from someone three times; you want $500 once a year, in a way where you become part of their mental budget.
