Pollard is such a dildo. I wish them the very worst.
I mean might as well throw the money in a fire pitHe's begging the legislature for a bailout, and he'll likely receive it.
Well for starters, the Iowa/ISU game brings enough traffic to keep local bars and restaurants in each city open for two years until the next time their city hosts.Huge economic impact on the state. Please explain
They used something like 900M in one-time money to balance the budget this year, and next year looks a lot worse. They aren’t going to have the tens of millions he needs just laying around. He's begging the legislature for a bailout, and he'll likely receive it.
Also, I’m sure they’ll be eager to support a program punching above its weight at the expense of schools, infrastructure, etc. You know, the stuff that the legislature is actually responsible for. They used something like 900M in one-time money to balance the budget this year, and next year looks a lot worse. Have you been paying attention to the Iowa legislature in recent years? Also, I’m sure they’ll be eager to support a program punching above its weight at the expense of schools, infrastructure, etc. You know, the stuff that the legislature is actually responsible for.
If Rob Sand makes relegating ISU and UNI to D2 (or 3) part of his platform and succeeds in doing so I will extend him a personal invitation to the Sculpture Park.Hopefully they’re told to #Sand.

Change in culture: ISU football rises to relevance
Ever since Jake Knott came to Iowa State as an underlooked recruit, he’s been coached to go beyond expectations. Now a three-year starter at linebacker, Knott has accumulated 290 career tackles as a key catalyst to the rise of relevance for the ISU football team during the past four years under...iowastatedaily.com
Can't sustain in WA and OR? I guess I missed it that WSU and OSU dropped down to a division! The underlying theme here is that a state with 3 mm population cannot support two P2 level athletic programs in football. As it should be. It already happened in Oregon and Washington (population 7.5 mil), I suspect a similar thing will happen to KSU (although they seem to have more mega boosters and resources) , and maybe to Arizona (which has unfathomable levels of debt due to mismanagement).
Reading is fundamental. Can't sustain in WA and OR? I guess I missed it that WSU and OSU dropped down to a division!
So is not letting a deadbeat relative live with you!Reading is fundamental.

Charlie was a good kid, it really sucks to read this. I was holding out hope Iowa might offer him late his senior season but wasn't meant to be. Ts & PsDamn, Charles Rogers passed away at 31 running a marathon.
probably a “feels like” situation but I swear ISU has way too many former student athletes pass away suddenly.
NoYou mean the Michigan State/Detroit Lions WR?
I remember after the 2002 Michigan State game where Iowa killed them, that a random video coordinator noticed that anytime Rodgers heal was elevated it was a pass play and any time it was down it was a run play so they just crashed the line of scrimmage based on his heal placement. You mean the Michigan State/Detroit Lions WR?
I guess he is dead as wellYou mean the Michigan State/Detroit Lions WR?
I believe that game also had the most wide open KO return for a TD I’ve ever seen. Jermelle Lewis I think? Just wide fucking open return with no one close.I remember after the 2002 Michigan State game where Iowa killed them, that a random video coordinator noticed that anytime Rodgers heal was elevated it was a pass play and any time it was down it was a run play so they just crashed the line of scrimmage based on his heal placement.
