The defense one is just outrageous. I think they have 0 returning starters. One of their highest rated transfers is Crawford who transferred to South Dakota because he wasn’t going to make the rotation here.

It’s probably not worth getting worked up over what some random CyFan says on twitter. They’re not going to be any good. They may win some games because their conference will now have only 1-2 good teams, but it’s not really worth GAF about. Hopefully they enjoy this offseason because it’s all they have. Campbell knew it was getting harder and harder to sustain and Pollard was being a bigger and bigger bitch about money. They’re fucked.

I can understand a fan being happy with their transfer class on paper but having a strong opinion on the team overall for next season is stupid. You haven't actually watched these guys play.

I've been following along a little bit and I see a few guys transferring down from higher levels, which in the portal realm doesn't typically pan out. And I don't recall these guys having any P2 offers (maybe eclone can clarify). So this "on paper" business seems misguided.

I can definitely see how the average podunk never played sports knows nothing about sports ISU fan would think this way though.

Let’s not get caught up in the details here… The simple fact is they have yet again done well… Certainly better than I expected they would do in the process… And as usual, they haven’t simply done well… They’ve had the greatest off-season ever, and not only won’t take a step back… But likely better… And possibly have the greatest season in college football history

He was just offered by and committed to South Dakota a few weeks ago so i doubt the MAC ones were options. It seems he has grown from 6-2 240 to 6-3 290 in the past year so it might not be a horrific flyer to take.
