That play was ridiculous. Awesome hit by X and then like 7 guys surround him and put him into the Gatorade cart. Then they call an offside penalty on the play and a replay was never shown, so no clue if that actually happened or not.I still don’t understand why an unsportsmanlike conduct wasn’t called after X lit Mendoza up on the sideline. The Hoosier bench was way out of line
Honestly I think the officials just panicked and called something stupid. That play was ridiculous. Awesome hit by X and then like 7 guys surround him and put him into the Gatorade cart. Then they call an offside penalty on the play and a replay was never shown, so no clue if that actually happened or not.
Oh. Who was the offsides called on?
Hurkett. Indiana declined it to go for it on 4th & 1.Oh. Who was the offsides called on?
That flag also came out super late for an offsides. It wasn't thrown until Mendoza started to escape the pocket.
I stopped giving a fuck by noon yesterday. The Oktoberfest beers, great food and decent weather helped.Way more pissed about losing this game than losing to ISU.
Oh hell yeah. Get all gussied up in the trachten coat and lederhosen and cruise for dunkel fraus.I stopped giving a fuck by noon yesterday. The Oktoberfest beers, great food and decent weather helped.
Defense played well yesterday, way better than expected against a tough opponent. That being said, the program has had systemic issues on the offensive side of the ball for a couple decades but they’ve had plenty of time to fix that but it’s not going to change.
The drop off at TE is inexcusable but not surprising considering our QB play and general perception of our offense. We’ve done nothing to combat that

Kirk is great at bleeding out the clock, and saving his timeouts for later. Unfortunately we don’t always want to do that. The one constant over the last 20 years is the feeling of futility when down by more than 3 points with less than 3 minutes to go in the game.
He tried to break things to the outside a few times in the first half that Kaleb would have been gone, but Moulton only got 2-3 yards.Moulton is not a bad back by any stretch, but I thought there were some moments yesterday where the difference between he and a special back like Kaleb Johnson were obvious. There were three or four plays in the second half where the line opened a gigantic hole and Moulton just couldn't get there before the defender filled it and made a one-on-one tackle. Last year Johnson got to the hole just a bit faster and made that cut a bit earlier and then ran through the one-on-one tackle because he was in a slightly better position to do so.
Our best shot at winning that game was Lutmer finding the EZ on the interception.Kirk is great at bleeding out the clock, and saving his timeouts for later. Unfortunately we don’t always want to do that.
Yea it felt like it at the time tooOur best shot at winning that game was Lutmer finding the EZ on the interception.
I was very unimpressed with ol’ Hank
He’s got a big ol pumpkin head.I was very unimpressed with ol’ Hank
He is tallAnd he lines up under center weird
If Hecklinski isn’t better, Kirk needs to fucking goPeacock sucked to go back and watch plays but just watched that 3rd down play again and it was there. He panicked with the pressure and threw an awful pass. 13 minute mark of this video.
I thought the Indiana linebacker had the receiver. He blew by the two pulling linemen.
Because they are faster and better?Their LBs generally seemed to play a lot faster and freeer than ours. We should look into why that was over the bye week.
The way that is worded is lol-worthy.I suspect so, and also less constrained
When the free guy is coming from that angle, you just run him out and hit the screen inside. It looks worse because the pass was so far outside. If he hits it at the top of the 5 on the graphic where Moulton settled, he stays inside and has the 1st down.Yeah it looks like a pretty critical block was missed by two OL.
It was a noncompetitive throw from the qb. I hope he gets better and plays It was his first game against a good defense, so hopefully he is better than that. When the free guy is coming from that angle, you just run him out and hit the screen inside. Not really, he started against Arkansas. It was a noncompetitive throw from the qb. I hope he gets better and plays It was his first game against a good defense, so hopefully he is better than that.
I am trying to be nice. Not really, he started against Arkansas.
He was 7/13 with 3 INTs.....
Being nice is how we ended up with a revolving door of tards playing QB for the better part of a decadeI am trying to be nice.
He failed to affix some ballsI was told Tim fixed his throwing motion.
Those dudes are creepy looking. For your listening pain/pleasure
