There's an easy way to inoculate anyone attending a college football game. Just make them carry a brick into the stadium with them...

People are going to test positive, deal with it
what if a player unknowingly had the virus, has a party over the weekend with several teammates, and then goes through the standard testing protocol and tests positive the next week? you end up with a bunch of guys in quarantine and not practicing.

In this scenario the other guys aren't also getting tested?

Basically Morehouse is saying what Iowa did was racist.

Marc Morehouse (@marcmorehouse) Tweeted:
@tmorrison24 Exactly. This is college football. The coaches know it’s over before a kid does. The process that begins at that point is a huge mirror into the stakes. This is part of my changing perception.

Marc forgot to come out with the hit piece about his dads best friend being black like Harty did. Maybe he’s trying another level of woke.

Last week on their podcast he said Iowa should just pay Doyle the $1.6 million he’s owed and get rid of him.

This week the $1.1 million was too much and they just did it to avoid a lawsuit.
That was before he did a deep dive over his last 20 minutes of notes.

Marc is allowed to change his perception, but not Kirk or others in the program.
I don’t want coaches doing the simple jack bit, or the pantomiming of a stereotypical gang member. I believe the coaching staff is open to feedback and will correct some things.

Maybe the independent investigation will be damning, but I haven’t seen anything that is yet. And if Marc has he should report on it.

Reducing the schedule by a couple of games will certainly address that problem.

Let em play, when they get sick, let em play some more.

It would be nice if he would just come out and say what he wants to say instead of implying it.

He clearly feels the coaches knew when a player wouldn’t see the field and instead of having the tough conversation with the player they rode the players ass hoping they would quit. Since this happened more often with black players it became a race issue.

Based on everything that we’ve seen, Doyle seemed to be the one leading that charge. Having that filter up to Kirk as he wants to imply seems like a stretch when the majority of former players seem supportive of him.

Many southern states refused to quarantine or social distance. No way they don’t intend to play CFB like usual

You can go to a beach and jack off today in Florida. They're not going to say the Gators can't play. LMFAO.

It's comical Marc makes these claims when they (media) see so much less of team activities than those who worked in the program.

Ask someone who is actually there all the fucking time. Ask Darren Miller who has been at more Iowa practices than some of the coaches

I guess I could see the 10 game schedule as a long term power move. It is clear that the Power 5 conferences have been looking for a way to separate football and aren't exactly happy they have to include non-Power 5 schools in the playoff high level bowl games.

There is some argument that maybe 10 games conference only this year might be more advantageous and profitable than having 2 extra shitty home games with no gate that you have to pay $1m+ each guarantees to some lower level teams.

Still don't see it happening unless there is some driving reason they have to push the season back 2 weeks or think they have to finish 2 weeks earlier before Thanksgiving.

They probably don’t want Ohio State traveling to Oregon or Michigan traveling to Washington, or having Miami travel from Florida to East Lansing only to have MSU turn around and travel to Iowa. You keep all the games as regional as possible.

So many ways that this can go if they veer off from the normal schedule. Do you simply start 2 weeks later or end 2 weeks earlier and add the 10th conference game? Do you rip up the entire schedule and try to make the most travel friendly schedule and tv schedule possible?

They mentioned same day travel to games before. It seems very hard logistically and a ridiculous home field advantage, but I guess you could do it if you plan well enough. Teams would bus/fly out at 9am, get to their destination between 10am-12pm, arrive at the stadium at 1pm. Get dressed and warm up and have the game in the evening starting between 5pm and 9pm and then fly home after.

Maybe for the longer travel games like the West vs. Rutgers/Maryland/Penn State and vice versa you can have those be the overnight exceptions and kick them off in the morning or late afternoon.

Also a subtle way to cut costs. I'm guessing that not having to put a travel party of 200 in a hotel for 3-5 games can save a lot of money. Same thing for the home team not sending all their players to a hotel the night before.

Sucks ass for the hotels though.

If people are traveling by then, they will have no problem plugging those rooms.

Throwing out the previous 22 years where he said nothing, but let's throw that out and start fresh. Marc supposedly hears all that's he's hearing, and Iowa has a couple press conferences come up with this.

So what's he ask? If Keith Duncan likes pineapple on his pizza.

GFY Marc, and while you're at it go fuck the rest of your dorky fraternity too.

The funny thing about that whole press conference is the striking visual of how the Iowa beat writers were pretty much perpetuating on some level the exact culture the players were speaking out about and they themselves were outraged over.

The day or two before the press conference when the players were allowed back on twitter, the most posted / retweeted / interacted with player by the Iowa beat writers was Keith Duncan. The same thing at the press conference. They asked questions of the black players, but they got really really giddy about asking Duncan cute questions and laughing and relating to him. It was so fucking weird when compared with why the press conference was being held and the tone and seriousness of the black players and their tweets and answers to the questions.

All of them act outraged, but then when it comes down to it they are fucking tone deaf.

Did they mean to do it? No. Was it intentional or racist? No.

Did it happen because they are Midwestern white guys that have no clue of how what they ask and why they ask it might not realize how it makes the black players feel? Sure.

Minus Doyle, that sounds awfully familiar.
