Agreed. Bring back the tennis courts! Also, fuck Kirk for letting this happen.
His statue should now be in question.

If it was ever in question, it’s settled now. Kirk has decided that this ship will right itself, or he’s going down with it
It’s a train wreck and I can’t look away.Right? I mean, Iowa football is an unwatchable, unenjoyable mess right now, so why do you guys put yourselves through this? You don't watch TV or movies you don't enjoy, so why watch football - even from your favorite team - that you don't enjoy? Turn off the fucking TV and do something else or at the very least, watch any of the other games that are available at the same time. I know that the press conferences, articles, and general chatter will only frustrate me and piss me off. I don't want to be frustrated and pissed off, especially when it's easily avoidable, so I try not to pay any attention to it.
Kirk is, and always has been, the problem with the offense. Also, fuck Kirk for letting this happen.
His statue should now be in question.
You do you…..boo.I go to boo and let everyone know this product is unacceptable
The best thing is having a team that you didn't really expect to be good, be good. But up there on that list is hate watching a thing when the people in charge make it so hate-able. That's actually quite a lot of fun.Right? I mean, Iowa football is an unwatchable, unenjoyable mess right now, so why do you guys put yourselves through this? Instead we got Cousin GregWe really needed a Kendall Roy moment at that press conference and didn’t get it.
Halloween babyYou do you…..boo.
Iowa currently 27th in turnover margin and 127th in scoring offenseQ. What do you think is the root cause of your issues on offense?
A. Well the reality is we don't have a root cause. We have to look at everything. It's a matter of going back to the basics. That sounds easy but it's not always easy. In truth what you need to do is execute on early downs in order to have manageable situations on third down. But when you don't have those things happen you need to be able to react. And you know, our job as an offense is to score points. And to score touchdowns. And the truth of the matter is we're not doing that consistently enough. When you're on offense you need to posses the ball and come away with points. And avoid turnovers. Every turnover we got this year gave the other team the ball when we expected to have it. It's an issue at the end of the day. And when the ball was turned over like that it gives the other team an opportunity to score points when we were looking to score points ourselves. Again, that might sound basic, but in truth that's what all of us have to focus on. And not just me, but all of the coaches and staff and players in this building. But certainly me specifically as well.

KirkWe only make changes in the off-season….

Good teams do it mid game to win. Idiots wait until the offseason.Kirk
do you think it’s odd that almost no other program on the country adopts this philosophy?
This stupid fuck. God I fucking hate him.Q. What do you think is the root cause of your issues on offense?

The fact that the guy with the 5th worst QBR on all of college football will also be the only one to take every single snap for his team that year will remain one of life’s greatest mysteries.Lol at the thought of them even considering Padilla now. After these questions and answers he may as well sew that red hat to his head.
Actually, we don't really do that either. We only make changes in the off-season….
Also, can you help us understand why QB is seemingly the only position this statement applies to?Kirk
do you think it’s odd that almost no other program on the country adopts this philosophy?
The offensive line for sure.FUCK YOUUUUUU
Technically true as someone will transfer, quit or leaveActually, we don't really do that either.
As the reporter I would have responded with?“What’s the upside?”
That statement is absolutely baffling
Spencer Petras is 125th in QBR out of 129 qualifying players. So I suppose the upside is anywhere from 1-124, with a downside of 126-129. I'll take our chances. He did not like the “have you considered stepping down” question.
He’s going to have to be removed and he never will be.
also:
Q: “What’s the downside of putting padilla in”
BF: “what would be the upside?”
Lol. What a fucking dumbass.
Is Mary Spencer’s Mom too? This is... a fair point.
can we all agree this sentiment is horseshit at this point?I love Kirk and want him to stay until he’s ready to leave(...)
Maybe that’s it. Spencer is Mary’s illegitimate son.Is Mary Spencer’s Mom too?
And this is why anti-nepotism laws exist. This is... a fair point.
Sounds healthy. The best thing is having a team that you didn't really expect to be good, be good. But up there on that list is hate watching a thing when the people in charge make it so hate-able. That's actually quite a lot of fun.
I wonder if the guy from the Worlds Largest Truckstop will pony up the 40 something million dollar buyout.I’m ready to fire Kirk. We have the money, just do it..
