"BEEEETHHHAAAAAAAAAAARRRDDD.........OHAAWWHHHAHHAHH.... HE GOT IT!!!! CEE. JAY. BETHARD!!"

If not for the PI he would have done it twice in a row. FUCK!It's a shame that we can't put Beathard to Smith in the 2015 Big Ten Championship game in there, would have maybe been #1 ever.
plus I seem to remember a sweet sky cam shot of the play, which was before the technology was everywhere."Blocked... scooped up... this is gonna be a HOCK-eye touchdown!"
also Brent yelling at Paul Chaney Jr for letting punts bounce"Blocked... scooped up... this is gonna be a HOCK-eye touchdown!"
He turtled more than anyone has ever turtled.Certainly wasn’t on that drive late in the game. That was weak.
That one is still up there for me.It's a shame that we can't put Beathard to Smith in the 2015 Big Ten Championship game in there, would have maybe been #1 ever.
Brown certainly isn’t perfect….but completing a high percentage of throws and not turning the ball over is what this team needs.Iowa won their 2 big games without the running game working, mostly because the other team is daring them to beat them through the airl
Running game will only get better, as will the passing game.
Not much better than Hawkeye football. This guy made a great video of everything, all the great plays.
Dude almost fell through the gate. He was having a great time. This is my favorite guy from yesterday. He's going NUTS in a section that is all Michigan people.

In the moment I thought he’d never play for Phil again after not taking himself out of the game.Brown was back in the game for Michigan’s last possession.
Iowa won despite being generally outplayed. There is also nothing wrong with being outgained and winning. Iowa made the highest leverage plays and won. It's okay to admit that and if anything makes the win funnier and more satisfying.
And sharing a steak with another manNot much better than Hawkeye football.
They were at the 25 when they threw the pick and I think that was the only contribution Shelton ever had, good or bad.A lot of people remember Banks to Clark in 02 as a walkoff, but it wasn’t. It was 4th and goal but there was still around 1:00 left on the clock, which was plenty of time for that Purdue offense. They were moving the ball pretty good…across midfield I think when Iowa picked off a pass…Adolphus Shelton, I think.
Seeing this allows me to rescind text comments yesterday that we had no business winning that game. Truly a Ferentz special. Win special teams have defense do enough to hang around and see what happens. When factoring in scrimmage (return) yards and penalties, Iowa out-gained Michigan 463-429.
That is a helluva sports photo regardless of your rooting interest. (Well aside from Michigan that is)
I agree that we would make fun of Blum and this is a generally lol way to look at it, but I also believe that it's true at the same time. It's a three phase game and Iowa PWNED them severely in one of them. Discipline was everything yesterday.Iowa won despite being generally outplayed. There is also nothing wrong with being outgained and winning. Iowa made the highest leverage plays and won. It's okay to admit that and if anything makes the win funnier and more satisfying.
Trying to claim KO return yards and net penalties as actually real yards like it's some coastal elite math is dumb faggotry. If Brent Blum posted that you would be posting it endlessly.

I mean a kick return TD takes away an offensive drive soIowa won despite being generally outplayed. There is also nothing wrong with being outgained and winning. Iowa made the highest leverage plays and won. It's okay to admit that and if anything makes the win funnier and more satisfying.

They had 82 total yards on the four full drives of the first half.I mean a kick return TD takes away an offensive drive so
and they had 91 on the last driveThey had 82 total yards on the four full drives of the first half.
For me, Hartlieb to Cook and Tate to Holloway are God Tier.Top 5 moments in modern (Fry/Ferentz) history....
1. Rob Houghtlin beating Michigan 12-10 in 1985
2. Tate to Holloway miracle beating LSU in the 2006 Capital One Bowl
3. Brown to RVZ in the Big House to win 20-19 in 2026
4. Stanzi to McNutt Michigan State 2009
5. Not sure which one, but maybe the Marv Cook play at Ohio State 1987, the winning FG's against Penn State 2008, Michigan 2016, Pittsburgh 2015, Dallas Clark TD against Purdue 2002.
@ChipHilton you need to chime in here.
1983 Long to Harmon for 77 yards at Penn StateFor me, Hartlieb to Cook and Tate to Holloway are God Tier.
This one is in the upper part of Awesome Tier that 7 for 6 would be in. This one's better and just about as improbable as Hartlieb to Cook, though. Right now the fact that's in September holds it back a touch. It could rise for me if it's a springboard to a magic season. If we go 7-5, it stays in the second tier.
I put the field goals in a separate category; they have their own thing. Often there's an agonizing wait. The kicker's out there stripped naked in front of the world. Then the building roar of the crowd as it heads to what looks like between the goalposts and then the crescendo (BBK would say orgasm). Followed by pandemonium as the kicker runs off, often to be piled upon. I don't know that I could rank them, either. Some were more important, but they're all their own special moment of pressure and drama.
Nature’s first green is gold,Boyz, it was an all timer win, but as fans, I think we need to start focusing on Ohio State.
faggotNature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
