Iowa won their 2 big games without the running game working, mostly because the other team is daring them to beat them through the airl

Running game will only get better, as will the passing game.

Brown certainly isn’t perfect….but completing a high percentage of throws and not turning the ball over is what this team needs.

They were moving the ball pretty good…across midfield I think when Iowa picked off a pass…Adolphus Shelton, I think.

For me, Hartlieb to Cook and Tate to Holloway are God Tier.
This one is in the upper part of Awesome Tier that 7 for 6 would be in. This one's better and just about as improbable as Hartlieb to Cook, though. Right now the fact that's in September holds it back a touch. It could rise for me if it's a springboard to a magic season. If we go 7-5, it stays in the second tier.

I put the field goals in a separate category; they have their own thing. Often there's an agonizing wait. The kicker's out there stripped naked in front of the world. Then the building roar of the crowd as it heads to what looks like between the goalposts and then the crescendo (BBK would say orgasm). Followed by pandemonium as the kicker runs off, often to be piled upon. I don't know that I could rank them, either. Some were more important, but they're all their own special moment of pressure and drama.
