I was informed that Hank’s fiancé sat in front of us with a ‘Jesus Loves Me’ hat. I thought he was gay. NTTAWWT.

Iowa being kicked out of the polls was such a ridiculous overreaction. They are certainly one of the best 25 teams in the country. Whether they’re one of the 12 best is probably a bridge too far.
They were 24th in one poll and effectively 26th in the other. The pollsters “ridiculous overreaction” to that shit show last week was pretty muted compared to most fans.

I suspect that the CFP ranking for Iowa will slightly higher than the polls.

In any case, it’s the same story as it has been since the Washington game. If Iowa loses two after that they are out, if they lose one they are highly likely to be in.

We had a mulligan but spent it against those retards from the North.

Yes- which is why I said that they should look at getting a proven #1 LB because everyone was so enthralled with the LB play last year. At the point I said it they were looking at Montgomery and an unproven and inexperienced Buffington.

Buffington has turned out to be what they were saying he would be and Montgomery has seriously elevated his play. Trust me Im glad
Ok thank you.

3 shutouts this year. Granted, 2 were against horrible teams, but even horrible teams find their way into the end zone.

Just an absolute Wizard and the best there is. And he is at Iowa.

And many of us were kinda pissed when he was hired to replace Norm because it seemed like a lazy hire. At least, I know that's how I felt.

Ran into Nate Kaeding, the US Ambassador to NATO and others.

Did not run into Liberal Politician Josh Turek.
Jogger wants to know if you collected any autographs.

Also, I appreciate that you added “and others” as otherwise I would have assumed there was just you, Nate and the distinguished ambassador there, which would be kinda weird.

A Kaeding pic with my 15 year old was obtained.

Weird question.... Why was the clock stopped at 1:35 at the end of the second quarter? We completed a pass for 8 yards and the clock stopped. At the game it wasn't clear. Watching the replay the ref says something about a runoff but I can't make it out. And Gus and Joel are completely oblivious.

We thought someone lost a helmet. Then the refs stood around for 3.minutes. Then Iowa called time out.

Someone lost their helmet, the delay was to see if they wanted to apply the 10 second run off and then some general confusion before Iowa just decided to call a timeout.

#17 (Florida), #19 (SMU), #20 (Northwestern), #22 (Arizona), #24 (OK State) and #25 (Wisconsin) all lost.

Iowa might move back up in the high teens in the AP Poll tomorrow, but not that it matters much as the CFP Rankings start on Monday. I am going to guess Iowa starts off as #17.
