This guy was about as effective as Allen in 8 fewer games and with more eligibility remaining. I'd say it's a fair trade or even a slight upgrade solely due to the chance of growth.

I did too, but those schools don't really pay much money if anything at all. Michigan State likely gave him more money than he could ever hope to make and a better chance at at least some additional carries.
